You can go to the mainland, which is much much bigger, and much more fun imo! |

Nevrax staff get to eat again ![]() The start isle is an unlimited 'demo', there is more content on the mainland, active guilds, a vast continent, generally more of....everything.... Oh, and you get to play with big shiny ranged weapons ![]() |

Re: Paid Account
Differences between Silan and mainland
- you can't past level 60 - no ranged weapons - no outposts, no GvG, no FvF (really a big part of Ryzom) - no mektoubs (hosting and mount) - no personnal housing and guild housing - you can't change your tattoos and hair - no prime roots - mobs are too easy on Silan. More challenge on mainland - mammals are not social. More challenge to hunt. - no excel and sup mats - Silan looks pretty, mainland is beautiful. No comparison. - Roleplay is far more better on mainland |

Re: Paid Account
Bigger, badder, yubos!!
Seriously though... Mainland is absolutely HUGE, and offers a wide variety of things to kill or be killed by. There are some seriously beautiful landscapes, lots of great people, and lots of great Guilds. I subscribed and came to mainland in my late level 30's, which might have been a little soon for any serious exploring, but I've never been happier with a game subscription. ![]() ![]() |

Re: Paid Account
The main difference between Silan and the mainland, I think, is that it is possible to have "done it all" on Silan. Never on the mainland.
BUT: On Silan, the things-to-do are mostly pointed out to you, and you are guided through them. On the mainland, the game does not guide you.
