This thread is full of people who talk about things, they heard from a friend who got it from his friend's sister. With some exceptions of course, they know who they are *hug*

I will stop reading this nonsense aswell as posting, I am sure alot was made possible to improve the game and the community with all the work done. For example, would you not enjoy an awesome ring scenario if it was created by 3rd party aid?

I think in this thread we see all the hate and anger about the game's loss summed up and spit at the wrong people. I wrote it earlier and I'll write it again, if you call this our "beloved community" I don't know... mine died with the beta.

They should be able to track the hacked items I would think, typically games like this items have specific identifiers and are traceable.... and from what I hear, the cheat/hack that people are useing to create items... Horrible ;'(... It's limited to 1q?... Do things like hp eggs, speed eggs, invul eggs, npc craft parts ect need higher then 1q to have a huge impact on the game? Nope, hacked hp eggs= near infinite pvp life, hacked NPC plans= many crafters with access to creating the armor, with merely a crystal... Sure puts to hell the work GoJ's been through. :'(... and rare things like NPC armor and other special items value drastically drops, I know ratara was sad when GoJ finally got a full set of pei and I won it in the raffle reducing her uniqueness. How would her and myself feel should everyone in the server be wearing it even if it's 1q?

Possbile solutions? I'd say perma ban for people useing things like this, and banning of Accounts that share the same, ip, Credit Card information, and any other things that are obviously associated to them. It's stealing from the game, and shouldn't be tolerated. Many of the players here think of this game as a second home, and the people as a second family... With most of us being so friendly and kind to one another. Why would we want thiefs in our homes? If I ever see anyone running around with stuff they shouldn't have aka 1Q NPC armor... I will not think twice about turning them in, even should they be a close friend.. shameful ;'(... But I've heard through the grapevine it's happening now.

Well, I'm pretty sure most people can find out who has real plans, which would mean that anyone who's stupid enough to spawn and actually use plans, won't be able to get access to real crystals anyway, and will likely be found out very easily.

Yeah though I did see a character running around with a hacked stuff about 4 weeks back, at the time I didn't know it was hacked items aka a pirate shield, though I was informed later about the hacking thing at the time. I think though those who do such things, won't be able to resist not using the items they make, too much a temptation. Also why make them if you never were planning on using it? lol

Just because something is shipped with the game it doesn't give you the right to go into game files to implement it. If it was to be implemented it would be implemented regardless of dev hours it took to design.

This statement extracted from the EULA superseeds any and all statements ingame, This is accepted by every player when they log into the game and those players that either knowingly or unknowingly break this condition of the EULA can expect that if i or any member of my staff recieve irrefutable proof that they have indeed broken this condition they will be banned!
Simple as that, there will be no argument and most certainly there will be no reprieve.

Currently as you are all aware there is no developement team which makes gathering such information very difficult, I certainly am aware that this "feature" is being exploited by a small number of players and am mostly aware of those involved in this exploitation. But please also be aware that allthough they may consider they have gotten away with it to date indeed they have not.

It has been said at various times in this post that use of this bug is not in fact an exploit, Please allow me to clarify that point.

An exploit is defined as the use of a feature or bug to gain advantage over and above another player or use of a bug to gain advantage where there would not under normal circumstances exist such oppertunity.

Ladies and Gentlemen, It doesn't matter to me what fancy words you use to describe what you are doing one simple fact remains: "You are exploiting". or more simply put "you are cheating"
Upon reciept by myself of proof of this you will be permenantly banned, I do not care who you are or who you think you are if you are not a developer of Ryzom using a dev account to investigate reported bugs then you have no bussiness involving yourselves in the level of code dessemination that is necessary to allow this to work.
