What I can say is, I am glad we have FINALLY a real answer. I suffered so much, I hoped, I prayed, sometimes cried. Now knowing the games fate relieves me so much.

Please don't get me wrong, I want it back aswell, but I don't want this game back as it was last weeks, months, like an unconcious patient waiting for the live machinery to be switched off.

If Ryzom will raise again from the ashes, then it must be the phoenix in full glory. I refuse to play anything that looks like Ryzom but is radically mainstreamed like Yubos dropping swords -yuck-


I was there from the beginning, I am here at the momentary end, rest in peace Atys, we will never forget you.

I assume though that this isn't an answer, nor a fate decided, because it has nothing to do with the ongoing liquidation process... Just the end of Gameforge's courtesy to continue hosting a game they don't own.

This makes me very sad, but what I am curious about is why they didn't pull the plug sooner. From what I read before, they had no impetus to keep servers going (except perhaps to keep some of us from disliking them...erm, that didn't work I guess) so why did they? Oh well, at least I will die at the 'falls I love

Tal, how do you know for sure that this is the end, that the plug is pulled... There is a possibility that the liquidation is coming closer and that he has asked gameforge DE to shut down the servers and make it ready for new owner, just think positive, we do not know for sure if this is end or if this is our new beginning

I think that he means that since arispotle server has crashed, there wont be any effort on restarting it cause they are going to shut it down anyway.

Since Leanon and Aniro havent crashed yet, they are still online, but i do belive if it does crash and needs a reboot to get back online again it will be the same
