The second Char would have to know all the same respawn points than the original then. You get features opened in the Ring by earing/encountering respawn points on Atys. ![]() Biggest problem, for me at last, is the time factor. It takes quite a while to create a good scenario. *sigh* CU Acridiel |

Yeah, but that doesn't take so long (especially compared to the time required to create something decent in the first place) EDIT: made it clear which bit I was replying to ![]() Last edited by fadebait : September 11th, 2008 at 06:44 PM. |

I always give cats out as the reward for completion of the scenario. In my scenario, Olepi's Moon, you can get the reward by killing everything, or doing the missions, or stealing the items. You get the most cats for the "good" path, doing the local natives' missions. |

And they should get rid of that 'feature', really.

Re: Content
Well, mostly the concern was that people would be able to put down things in the Ring without ever having seen them in the 'real world', and that that would be a spoiler...

Re: Content
Imho it was done to make sure trial accounts don't misuse the ring without pay...

Re: Content
The thing about spoiler is, I could pop all kinds of bosses in there and a level 5 newbie can visit the scenario and see it all. Imho it is the responsibility of the creator not to spoil the game too much (if possible).

Correct, technically spoken Ryzom is one big grind. You do nothing but add up numbers in a database until you grow tired. But this is not the reason people play it, every other game offers endless grind aswell.
It's the other aspects, be it lore, game system, community or whatever. But those who play just to reach 250 and get the best of the best have a tiny problem, they reach this goal relatively fast done in a huge grind and then those "shooting stars" quit playing out of boredom. But they only used a small aspect of what the game offers, so don't accuse the game if you find yourself already satisfied with a subset of its potential. |
