Meeehh ![]() As i already told you... i really enjoyed both of your last ring scenario, dont stop...(ok, you spend few hours building the scenario, few days hosting it, just for.....really really few people / fans, but....do you have better to do ? ![]() Sad to see a master "ringer" giving up... 20 mn on a good scenario is so good to break the usual dig/grind/dig... ![]() |

Re: Capryni Delivery (another Christmas Ring Scenario)
Oh, now you all start pimping it?
![]() ![]() ![]() @Genia: Thank you, but I didn't mean I was giving up on the Ring, just on doing this kind of event with it. (Making a scenario for a special occasion and hosting it permanently for a week around that occasion.) It's the permanent hosting that's not worth it, the building is still something I enjoy muchly. ![]() ![]() @Sxar: I think this is more the classic 'player event versus official event' thing. Remember how the most elaborate player-made events (with weeks of buildup by multiple players) would commonly attract around 20 attendees, while even the simplest official events (a CSR logging into an event character and saying "escort me to Pyr!") would already get 40 attendees? Imagine this exact same Ring scenario being hosted by a CSR character, officially announced here in the forums by Tidings/Boroshi/Yumeroh, and with a mechanic in place to transfer the dapper+cats+crystals right into your inventory upon completion, and then tell me you still believe it would've gotten no more than 20 players because it's a Ring-thing? ![]() ![]() For a player event, the turnout here wasn't bad at all. ![]() |

Aye, you might be right. Official announcements etc would really help. I think there was an csr-ring event one or two times, and it got quite some people in, just to figure it out or people afraid to miss something... Beside that I can remember some player events that had attracted quite some players. *grin* @genia, to make a good scenario takes quite some time, much more then just a couple of hours. Especially the testing and tweaking over and over takes a lot of time. (My 'join the assassins'-scenario took me 2 full days to make, maybe even a bit more) |
