crap - my personal choice for subscribing was paypal
i no longer hand out my CC number willy-nilly since i had it stolen - paypal is a great way to hide it

this takes a major rethink - not sure of all the choices but i guess i'll be taking a break from the game

Guys im sorry but your new billing system is driving me beyond insane.
I normally use a Discover Credit card for MMO subs and other videogames and Both seem to not take discover.

Also im finding out since I choose not to use a Visa or Mastercard I have to pay 13.95 for my Sub instead of 10.95.

I don't like using my bank debit cards over the internet and i've almost totally had it with the whole thing!

Edit: Damn it so PaybyCash uses Paypal? but I still have to pay 13.95 instead of 10.95? Forget it ill just use my Debit Visa. These guys are lucky I enjoy Ryzom if this was Lotro or WAR i would have cancelled.

you pay 10.95 for Ryzom, rest goes to PayByCash. PayByCash provides service and they want their cut.

Yeah I decided to just use Bibit. I hate using my Visa but what choice do I have?

Hopefully Ryzom one day will have a real billing system with a normal Buy page and time cards. the extra charges are kinda strange imo.

I did in the past and never got problems using my CC, in any game i payed for.

Also, Bibit is a good company owned by the English Royal Family.

Anyway, prepaid cards are the good choice for people that don't want to risk, as long as they have the card always empty except when a payment must be done.

Actually this is the method I use, so I never risk anything because if someone steal in some way the card, there is nothing to take from it.

Im still having problems

I decided to use Bibit but my transactions still dont show as paid.
Since payments are taken out once a month using Bibit will my transactions only update on specific days?

right now its not showing that i paid will that be updated on the 18th?

i agree - still smarting over my planned use of paypal since it was announced that would be one of the choices we would have - well, until now of course
so i was gonna give in and use my credit card (against my better judgement) but can't use my one CC which is Discover
lordy, it shouldn't be a job to pay for the game - did i click on the wrong link and find myself trying to get Darkfall - heheh

any word on any plans to add to our choice of payment - - - don't understand why i can't pay directly to the owners of the game using Paypal

Its crazy not having a Paypal method of payment, its become such a necessity on the internet and is not an unknown quantity, so shouldnt be hard to set up.

I know a number of MMO's that use Paypal, so I imagine Paypal themselves wouldnt see it as a problem.

I could of sworn I saw a Paypal Option through PaybyCash.

I decided to use my Visa debit card instead of my Discover which pissed me off tbh.

Hey, did you guys notice ? All the suscribed players' forum titles got changed to *Ryzom Supporter*. I guess that's what we truly are after all.

And I can't say that I'm not relieved to be rid of our usual doomsayers' sarcasms. They'll have to pay in order to be able to annoy us, now.
