Stuck in Hybrid Mode for thread viewing

It's not really bugged me before, but I kind of would like to be able to select Linear mode to view threads in.

If you open a thread, and select display mode there are 3 modes. Linear mode, Hybrid mode, and Threaded mode. My thread view is ALWAYS stuck in hybrid mode. Even if I change to Linear mode, and select a new page to view in Linear mode, it switches back to Hybrid Mode.

Is there a way to fix this?

Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that I had tried that. It's currently set on Linear mode - Oldest First, and always has been. I've tried changing it to Hybrid mode, or threaded mode, saving it, then changing it back to Linear mode - Oldest First, but it doesn't work..

The same thing happened to me... I dont remember what I did to fix it... I think i tried with new browsers, ie... IE and Firefox... Also, if you are determined, you could un-install your browser, re-install and try accessing Hybrid mode... but now thinking about it, i dont know how that would help.

But I did change it, and I did it by fumbling with my borwsers, (interchanging etc)

Have you tried clearing cache and cookies and also disabling any kind of filtering for the site, such as popup blockers, firewall sanitizers, etc? It's possible that you are not passing the correct info to get your view changed.. Just a thought.
