Infinity has come to an end....
After much internal debate... Infinity has decided to move on.
We will be headed to another MMO... not sure which yet... perhaps an update will follow... perhaps we will be back. For now however, the vast majority of this little experiment will be off in search of greener pastures with high level content. Appologies to the Kami we swore to back till the end of time... but the time has come to move on. Thanks to The Guardians of the Lost and Atys Paladins. You guys have always made our gaming experience more entertaining and worthwhile. Few people I'm truly going to miss.... you know who you are... people I'm in tells with even if we're fighting in PvP. Be well guys... take care... and long live the Kami ways of life... even sans Infinity. Wishing you all the best, |

As you read we leave with most of members, ill still be ingame with my char some time since ive got 2 pcs running so ill just hybernate ingame or something
 Hope to see you all again on teh flipside or like when this game gets real attractive content or something... Ive been around for a very long time already and ill miss alot of people - who also know i mean them! - and im really sad to leave ... but ill be back! hehe Greets to all players who keep going and the CSR who where always in for a chat  Cu all and KAMI GO!

What to say... I can understand the reasons behind that decision, and I cannot but wish you best of lucks in your new projects, wherever they may be. Nevertheless, it's been a long time with you guys running around Atys, not only as a large, succesful guild, standing firm to their beliefs, but also a bunch of nice folks that earned respect from the players. You folks will be missed. Bri, Morg, Praha, Seti, ... too many to list. Have fun and maybe our paths will cross again. Sad to see you go, Ani. ps. you guys sure you don't wanna give the spires a try :P? who knows, maybe you'll be back ps2: the first that posts "can I have yer stuff?" gets a smack ! |

So long and thanks for all the yubo pelvi. The CSR's, devs, community are great in this game. The vast majority of us do not see Ryzom Ring as additional content. No new regions, completed rites, new skill sets are making this game a bit of a drag. We thought OP's would change that, especially being a pro-PvP guild, there is no benefit atm for being pvp active. so the PK'er vibe is out there still. Digging with faction tags seemed to be bugged still. Content designed by the devs is what we felt our RL dappers were going towards. Not an $9 doom map maker for other players to make map and call "content".
As a member of Ryzom open beta and a member of the live community since late April I have always been a big supporter of the community and will continue to. I'll check the patch notes every month or so for hopes of finding that the Rite Strike Team finally added some code, maybe a new skillset or new region. Content is the overall issue here for our mid-lvl and high lvl toons. Adding storylines and mythology to a website does not count as content. Spires are not content IMO. I hope that the devs read this. You've made a great game. You should have completed the unfinished content in game, then made an extansion pack first, and finally R2. I'll miss The Jungle crew and calling The Void Infinity country. The Lost boys and girls, Zysha, The Knights, Mailee, Piirihuone, Aajolea, Anissa, Kostika, Kye, Posmo, Padawan, Kyerna, Liquado, Equidonna, Rushin, Typhooon, Petej, Baisc are among the many who I will miss chatting with in game and you are all geniunely nice people. I'll always enjoy reading you posts Anissa. Always a good chuckle. And a special shout out to you know who: "Get some HP already!" Didnt think i'd see the day... very sorry to see you guys go. I wish you all the best of luck and hope you'll find a new place to call home.
Whether you are Kami or Kara, i think it's safe to say it's a sad day for all of atys. |
