Want new players? Start marketing it! Increase Silan lvl cap!

Ever since GF took over i havent seen one single add campaign on any game site i visit regulary... maybe im missing them, but i think u guys are making the same mistake as Nevrax, invest nothing in marketing.... Yea people told me u advertise on ur own site but be realistic, i never heared of u guys b4 u took over and i believe so did the rest of the people here

Also do something about the trial, increase the lvl cap imho, lvl 21 wont show u the game and is so easily done it wont bind people to long to Silan, give them a change to see the development of the skilltrees, let them get lvl 50 for free, i dont see the harm in it, it will make people wonna stay longer and i believe will generate more players.... what do u have to lose? I can also imagine give them the possiblilty to check out mainland for a given time but i can see the problems araising with that aswel... freeloaders overwelming the server, but people will see the game in all its beauty... and will see what they are gonna pay for... maybe a one time 1 week subscription for 4 euros or something could solve this problem.

Well, they do advertise in their own games.
Wich are played in 18 countries as far as I know...

And, well it seems to work. Lots of new People around lately.

level 21 is perfect for non subscribers.
level 50 is god status for silan. for mobs and for other homins in arena.

for skill tree, they can just change they way skill tree is displayed ;-).. can see next skill branch skills like now, but tree view goes all the way to lvl 250 (just cant see skills)

I have to say i didnt think about that and i agree with it, still i believe current free trial just doenst offer enough to keep most people interested. But about that pvp arena, who use it on Silan? I have a toon on it and i never see people fight in arena tbh.

I have beeen in a fight on there ONCE.

and I have also been ganked while digging there.

Maybe my opinion is somewhat biased since i play on Cho, last new person i saw coming to ML was Hazira

And the arena is liek 20meters of total of silan, i really cant see ur problem there.

I agree that there should be more marketing than simply the other GF games...

I should at least be able to walk into a major videogame store and see a few copies in there...

Ok in all due respect but i really try to advertise this game on other forums i visit and this is the most common response i get

i am not spending money on a game till i am certain i will stick with it.

This all boils down to the very low lvl cap, u guys maybe dont want to see it but i really think it is a problem.
