[Closed] Have a celebrity play it and advertise his experience

Have a celebrity play the game, film his/her experience, record his comments and advertise all this into one media to show the world anyone can play this game and anyone can enjoy it.

May prove to be difficult to do because of :
- finding the right celebrity
- celebrity usually not do anything for nothing
- hopefully not having any bad comments from him/her


Positive points:
- will attract new players that know this celebrity
- will convince new players its not that hard of a game once they see his/her experience


Or do the oposite. Have Ryzom go into a show to be mentioned or viewed even for a few seconds. Ex: WOW seen in South Park !

I know this idea might be a bit far fetch, but the more ideas we can pour into this forum, the better. Its a marketing idea nevertheless.

Also by celebrity, it does not have to be a movie star. Could be anyone like Donald Trump, Bill Gate, Steve Jobs, Paris Whatshername, William Shatner, ...

I know but it was just a joke to mention William Shatner. Like I said it does not have to be a Hollywood celebrity. It just have to be someone people know or someone associated with a product people know.

I agree that this is a debatable idea. But then again, that is the point of this forum.

Yes, but I admit I went a bit outside the rules to post marketing ideas.
