Anyone having 3d skills ?

I am just wondering about the availability of skilled people before even suggesting this one (may have already been suggested in one indirect form). If there is enough skilled people, then this sort of thing can be split up amongst members of a team.

It is true doing a community movie is alot of work (I know, I am responsible for the "Pre/Selection" movie based on Half-Life1:Natural Selection MOD game, but lacked time) but if there is enough people and enough will to do so ...

Wallpapers are alot easier (check my Deviant Art link to see Half-Life1:Natural Selection wallpapers).

Working on a 3d project involves doing many different parts and therefore, dividing the work amongs people.

Also, anyone good at texturing ?

This is something that I have been willing to do for a while but lack time to do so.

I've only ever worked in 2D, bar 3D stuff for my graphics project at GCSE level (16 year old examinations in the UK) which was just objects, not people. In a couple of years I'll delve into 3D, but until then I can't help much >.< Sorry

Set up a "Recruiting all 3D model makers" or likewise? Could work... Most of us are probably lazy and just nick stuff from the game for the wallpapers :P Movies meanwhile, now that could be an interesting development. Get cracking

Lack of time, that´s my main problem too at the moment.
New job... and I hate it.
As for Movies I´d be with you, if not for above problem... *sigh*
