crashing

I keep crashing and getting this message every now and then:

A failed assertion occurs
ProcName: client_ryzom_rd.exe
Date: 2009/03/19 21:36:02
File: .\driver_direct3d_texture.cpp
Line: 835
FuncName: NL3D::CDriverD3D::uploadTexture
Reason: "rect.Y + rect.Height <= (sint)d3dtext->Height"
-------------------------------

No log
-------------------------------

any idea about how can i fix it?

thx!

Re: crashing

Did you tried OpenGL mode instead?

I know that this isn't a sufficient solution, but maybe it is a viable workaround.

Can you describe in what situations the crash occurs?

Interesting error message there. Have you tried the info in this thread:
http://forums.ryzom.com/showthread.php?t=15428

Just be warned that renaming your SAVE folder will reset your UI and you'll lose some info map flag data, macros (but it will still be stored in the renamed folder.. but it might be problematic).

Peace,
- Sui

Re: crashing

Hey, I've gotten that error before. Happened when I was running in windowed mode in d3d. I think I tried to resize the window or move it or something.
