Honor (Honour) Points
Was wondering what the community's feelings are with regard to us now having Honor Points again.
-What I like .... it's injected something new and exciting into the game. -What i don't like .... if you ain't into PvP, this time around there's no alternate means such as digging or crafting. Could be remedied with PvE missions from faction npc's -What I like .... if you into PvP, it pretty much gives you a PvP opportunity 24/7. -What I don't like .... the thought process behind the concept seems flawed. Seems that two friends of opposite factions can stand nekid in front of the stables taking turns beating each other over the head with candy canes. -What I like .... Haven't heard of any unhappy parties with regard to behavior of other players. -What i don't like ..... some people have complained about "two consenting (normally non PvP'ing) adults" beating each other over the head with cnady canes so they can get the same access to the new goodies that every one else has. While I would object to this if other opportunities were available for non PvP'ing players, as is it now, this complaint seems to be targeted as another instance of encouraging a system "have's" and "have nots". |

Re: Honor (Honour) Points
Do not get me wrong but is most of the content not already aimed towards non pvp?

Oh that’s simple. Anything that gives me the opportunity to take more pictures like this…
… so I can add them to my COLLECTION OF SPANKINGS is good ![]() |

not particularly active ingame recently, so dont have much moral weight to my views, but the above looks like a good thing to me. It encourages friendship across the artificial Kara/Kami divide, and keeps it all in perspective. From a RP point of view, its the clever homins exploiting the higher powers for the benefit of hominkind, which is the best possible solution from a hominists perspective. This is the Karavans war, and the Kamis war, its only Homins war because they are coercing, blackmailing, and bribing you into it - and lets face it, bribery is going to get more people than coercion or blackmail. Its even tempting me, and I have maintained my faction fame around +/- 8 for the entire span of the game. |
