The CDI 310 was a so called transportable CD-i player, lacking a display, but with an integrated 3.5" floppy disk drive. Intented for professional applications where frequently changed actual data is needed. The CDI 310 needs the docking station 9142 to place the Digital Video cartridge.

The CDI 370 was build by LG Electronics (then GoldStar), and was based on their own portable CD-i system. The player has an integrated Digital Video decoder and recharchable battery, and was far more compact then the earlier Philips portable players.
