[Referendum] New Race-Specific Animations

You have probably read in the Now In Test section of the website that we are about to bring new race-specific animations in-game. This is a highly subjective and emotional subject; some people like the change, others don't.

So, to decide what to do, we are making a little experimentation here. We'll let you sit in our chair for a few minutes and decide on your own if you want to have the new animations patched to the live servers, or if you want to keep the current ones.

Please note that you will be faced by the same constraints that we have: it is necessarily a binary choice (all or nothing), as this is all that our current busy schedule allows.

And, yes, the final result of the referendum will be effective immediately. If the majority of votes goes for patching the new animations, they will be included in one of the next patches and won't be modified until we have time to fine-tune them; if the majority of votes goes for keeping the current ones, you won't hear about the new animations until we have time to work on it again. Your choice!

Ihr habt sicher in der Momentan im Test-Sektion der Webseite gelesen, daß wir in Kürze neue Rassen-spezifische Animationen ins Spiel bringen werden. Da dies ein recht emotionales und kontroverses Thema ist, mögen einige Leute diese Änderungen, andere nicht.

Also, um zu entscheiden was wir tun werden, wollen wir hier ein kleines Experiment durchführen. Wir werden euch die Entscheidung überlassen, ob ihr die neuen Animationen auf den Live Servern haben wollt, oder lieber die Aktuellen.

Bitt beachtet dabei daß ihr von denselben Beschränkungen wie wir betroffen sein werdet: Es ist eine binäre Entscheidung (alles oder nichts), da dies die einzige Möglichkeit für unsere derzeit sehr volle Planung ist.

Und, ja, das Endresult der Abstimmung wird sofort aktiv werden. Wenn die Mehrheit der Stimmen für sofortiges Patchen der neuen Animationen ist, werden sie in einen der nächsten Patches eingebaut und werden nicht modifiziert bis wir Zeit haben sie zu fein-tunen; wenn hingegen die Mehrheit dafür ist, die Aktuellen zu behalten, werdet ihr von den neuen Animationen nichts mehr hören, bis wir wieder Zeit haben sie zu bearbeiten. Eure Wahl!

Vous avez sans doutes lu dans la section Actuellement en Test du site web que nous implémentons de nouvelles animations raciales dans le jeu. Ce sujet est très subjectif et personnel ; certains veulent le changement, d'autres non.

Donc, pour décider de ce que nous devons faire, nous allons faire une petite expérience. Nous allons vous laisser vous asseoir quelques minutes dans notre fauteuil, et décider par vous même si vous voulez les nouvelles animations sur les serveurs live ou si vous voulez garder les actuelles.

Notez que vous serez face aux même contraintes que nous : ceci est nécessairement un choix binaire (tout ou rien), puisque c'est le seul choix que nous permet notre planning chargé.

Et, oui, le résultat final du référendum sera effectif immédiatement. Si la majorité des votes est pour les nouvelles animations, elles seront incluses dans un des prochains patchs et ne seront modifiées que lorsque nous aurons le temps de les fignoler ; si la majorité est pour garder les animations actuelles, vous n'entendrez plus parler des nouvelles animations jusqu'à ce que nous ayons le temps d'y retravailler. A vous de choisir !
