The recent events and trying to get the message out

I wasn't there and I'm happy with the rumors.

Besides, even if I was there, who's to say there's any truth to what they were saying anyway? The meeting could easily be to just get everyone speculating and mistrusting each other and no other reason.

What exactly was said isn't important...


However, I do think there should be NPC's or message boards in game that relate event happenings to people that weren't there, disregarding this one particular event. All the announcements here in the forum from Tidings should be available in game, many people dont' want to read the forum when they could be in game instead. I know I wouldn't be here if I was home instead of at work.....

Tired and frustrated from another day trying to find information about my father's death only to realize how large Yrkanis is as compared to my small village of Rosilio, I retired to the nearest tavern I could find. Inside, to my amazement, I found a drunken slovenly beast of a Fyrosian being wholely ignored by my kin. Although overwhelmed with disgust for this pitiful soul, the interest piqued by his slurred story compelled me to listen...

"Yu arrignt Muhteesh think yu know wuts going on. Think yu know about theesh Eliash rumersh. I knew Eliash. I knew tht fanatc well."

He took a small drink here, as if remembering something.

"The heretic Eliash tried to turn me to his ways. I told him, lukkd him stret in te eyesh.. 'You cannot turn me, Eliash'. I says to him. 'I am a trater! ...... but I am no trater!'"

Here he slammed fist down and grabbed his stein. Raised it high in a drunken toast to some strange inner victory and then swilled down another mouthful.

"Yeh, I know Eliash and his lot. And I know te krazed kami luvrsh that started this rumor. Funny thing about bein a old drunk, we cn be anywher and no one notish ush.. We hear evrtin. An I tell ye now.. All of ye fool Muhteesh, Eliashs lot was not at thish meeten. Te shtory wus frabli.. frabri.. wush made up. Ter ish a war brewin, and Jennu gots nuttin ta do wit it.."

His eyes began to fade a bit here.

"And wen tht war getsh here.. I'll be.. well I'll be.. I..

I'll be shleepin right here.."

And with that his stein fell to the ground and his head fell to the bar in the dark corner that was his own. Fool Fyros that probably forsake his own people in search for some glory that never came to him. Though, the drunken conviction with which he told this story made me contemplate...

I wonder if my little sister has had any further dreams..
