Initially (since it was easier for us to beta test), everyone could have any TP. Like MANY other things prior to EP1, teleports were released unfinished. You in fact were able to use something you had no right to use based on your gameplay. I think gameplay suffers because neutrals have access to teleports outside of the starter cities TBH. They arbitrarily gave you more because, like many other gameplay issues, they caved in to the minority not playing they game as it was planned. It's things like this that have slowed our story progression...

And you just want to go where you're herded, THAT is dumbing things down.

Basicly Your are saying, if someone is neutral, go and find other game, this isn't for neutrals.

Could You explain me any reason why I should not be neutral?
(PS: I'm not interested anyting PvP related game play.)

But a duel is completely different from PvP....it's 1 vs 1, it's consent for both, it's not faction specific.....it's..erm...pointless.

we already have three factions, all that was requested is that it is recognised in the game mechanics. Give it some thought LittleT,and others who read this thread, it's not really an unreasonable request.

not exactly.
something more of like:
karas got all regions
kamis got all regions
neutrals got only half regions
- ok, "regions" dont add up mathematically, but it does not change the fact that neutrals have half from what kami/kara has.

What he is saying is the game is about the Kami vs. Karavan conflict, if you can't deal with that, then yes, find another game.

Maybe you can answer this for me. You say that you don't want to be a part of PvP conflict, ok. So what is stopping you from doing missions for the Kami or Karavan and not telling anyone? Why don't you simply use the teleports as if they don't belong to anyone? No one except the devs knows your fame levels, so you can act as if they don't even exist. Don't turn on your pvp tag and no one ever knows.

Because as far as I can tell it's not that you don't want to be a part of PvP, it's that you want the devs to change the game.

You explained this yourself. All your complaints about life as a neutral is based on the simple decision from the game makers, that "neutral" is not an equal faction, as pointed out over and over again.

This is how the game is designed. It's what makes many people love it over other games. I am not much of a PvP-person myself, but this game has gone to great lengths to integrate it in a meaningful way, with great succes, and I'm learning to appreciate.

I assume what you do like about the game, is the character progression, combat systems, graphics, etc., but I bet 90% of all Ryzom players also love the unparalleled world dynamics, which is a result of "enforcing" political decisions on to players.

You should be glad that neutraility is an option. Not angry that it's hard.

This is a self-contradictory statement.

Exactly. Do people honestly think that a person with negative Kami fame was always supposed to be able to use Kami teleports?

Who told you humans were not self-contradictory? Look at you, a neutral playing a pvp game.
