First off Barbie (Im allowed that one Tydamus since he is saying TIGGER instead of Tiger, if you gonna ban me for this one, at least do the same to him, or leave mine alone)

Its Tiger, not Tigger.
Secondly, At least I have the decency to READ people's posts before arguing.
If I dont, the post i make is focused on me, and never on other people.

I hardly think you can find any post where I have flamed a person that hasnt flamed me first. Infact, I dare you to try to find one.

(no, a post where I call myself the Highlight of Arispotle or a God is not a flame, and NO it doesnt count if the person flamed me or made a attempt at arguing with me by giving me credit for things I havent done (lies).. )

Find a post where I flame anyone who has showed me respect or left me alone.

Thats why I am not ignorant, thats why I have the right to call other people ignorant. Because they do

I try and always use the term nonfactioned. This removes the hidden implication that the nonfactioned player is looking without bias or lacks an agenda. For instance only in the minds of those who want to be victims and/or demagogues is there any "persecution" of "neutral" characters.

Agreed. Nonfactioned is a much more precise term than neutral - simply indicating the characters who hasnt dedicated themselves to the religious war between Kami and Karavan. Such a nonfactioned player need not be a moderate or unbeliever, he could be strongly biased towards either of the two faiths.

PvP vs PvE does not fall within the faction and nonfactioned arguments, it is a very separate issue that does not serve the overall nonfactioned population, just a subset thereof.

Agreed. I for one would like to have a general PvP flag introduced to the game - not just the faction PvP flags. That is... a flag indicating that you are ready to participate in PvP... enabling you to attack and be attacked by other characters with faction or general PvP flag enabled. This should not come with a dedicated chat channel - since it is not a faction. Instead this could be an option for mercenaries and others. Or it could simply be an option for some players who would like to set up a little event involving fighting amongst the participants...

I am of the opinion that the Kitin threat, Racial competition, and the Faction wars are separate story lines. The faction wars have had a very, very long chapter and now the devs should work on advancing the other plot lines.

Agreed. While the programmers put the last touches on the Kitin Lair, I would like to see our new event team raising the tension between the four homin nations.

Edited for clarity.

I don't quite understand what you mean. Not critical of the point, just trying to wrap my mind around it. The factions are basically religions. In each religion there are fundamentalists who blindly follow their doctrine without regard to morality or conscience, justifying same with "following their god". Let's take it out of game for a second to provide another frame of reference.

Let's change the last few words of the post above to "rejecting to accept the laws of Abraham, Christ or Mohammed". Or why not add Zeus, Odin and whomever else ya wanna throw in throughout history ? While I accept them as historical figures, I do not accept any of them as gods. How does that reflect a bias when each is given the same irrelavance / irreverance ?

If I was to transport back to the days of Rome in full kevlar suit, pair of Uzis, stun gun and let's not forget my F-14 Tomcat....I'd certainly be considered a god by many. So for example, I consider Jena's armored guards and flying machines in the same context ..... no more of a god than Captain Kirk. Unlike Captain Quirk, it seems neither kara nor kami believe in the "prime directive" .

Simply, I believe in personal choice. I don't recognize any god in life or in game. Their laws are meaningless to me. My laws are those of science and those of conscience. This is my personal decision. I don't try and convert anyone to my way of thinking. I don't go door to door handing out pamphlets. I respect other people's choices and just ask that "thou shalt keep thy religion to thyself". And although the old and new testaemnts as well as the koran have been used to justify genocide, I fail to see how any religious doctrine's precepts justify such an action.

None at all, their life, their choice....whether it be religion (in game or out), sexual orientation (again in game or out ....we do have a lotta dudes dressin up as girls) or whether the sheets on the toilet paper roll should dispense against the wall or away from it. I have friends and family of varying faiths (in game and out), varying orientation and various TP philosophies. I just don't want anyone foisting their choices on me....IRL or IG.....or telling me I am somehow entitled to less for my efforts than someone who has made other choices.
