Feature Request: Normal Maps (with examples)

hey i did some experiments with ryzom assets and normal maps. the result is pretty neat. they are generated just from the texture:

models converted to fbx and loaded in unity engine with normals:

without:

karavan ship with normals:

without:

tyrancha boss with:

and without normals:

as i wrote, the normals are texture generated no assets were changed but only a new normal map was created.
imo normal mapping would be a huge win ;)

pretty heavy specular and normal but its so cool :)

There have been several experiments with implementing normal maps.

But you should probably expect proper support for them after everything right now has been properly documented.

Ive added normal map support on a dx7 client in blitz3d .... soon as i find my way around through this code, ill be attempting it... not attempt... ill do it :D
