SPECIAL NOTE
As part of Chapter II, part 2, a new part of PvP is introduced on Atys,
in the Prime Roots at Lands of Umbra and Nexus
only.
In addition to PvP duel, challenge and free for all (arena), two new types of PvP are added:
*The guild versus guild PvP: *
. This PvP takes place in the Prime Roots.
. Every player who enters the PvP zones is involved.
. This PvP allows confrontations between guilds.
. It transforms specific zones of the Prime Roots into a more dangerous, almost "free fire" playing area.
*The PvP faction (during events only): *
. This PvP takes place in a single region during events.
. Every player who enters this zone must choose a side or remain neutral.
. This PvP allows players to participate in conflicts generated by the unfolding of the Saga.
. When you enter a PvP area, and choose a faction (Kami or Karavan
for instance), your fame with the faction you haven't choose will
decrease to -1 if the fame of
the faction you chose was greater than 0, or to one point lesser than
the fame of the faction you chose if this one was already less than
0.
*The guiding principles of PvP on Atys: *
All five types of PvP follow these principles:
. XP related: no gain in xp from the PvP.
. Death malus: no xp malus, but the player characteristics (HP) drop.
. The damages done during a PvP session are displayed in a different color.
. There is a 30 second timer before being in PvP mode when entering
a PvP area. A message is sent every 5 seconds displaying the remaining
time at the entrance
and the exit of a PvP area.
. The natural resistance to magic increases when you enter a PvP zone.
. You can use your invulnerability power and anti-magic shield even if you are under a 'Fear' or a 'Sleep' spell.
. You can resurect in a PvP area.
. Chain type of spells work as intended during PvP.
. Auras works in the PvP areas.
WHAT'S NEW
[ M E K T O U B S]
. Your mektoub packer swims correctly (with correct animations). The backwards animation is still faulty.
. Your mektoub packer's inventory has been increased from 64 to 256 slots, enjoy

. Players' jewels wear as other piece of equipment.
[ F I G H T ]
. Changing of target during a fight won't make your character move automatically towards this new target. This is still possible
if set up correctly in the in-game configuration system.
. When a mob or a character dies, it still stays as your main target
and in the contextual menu updates. You won't have to target the dead
corpse.
. Hands can now be hit by an opponent.
. Added a message when you successfully resist a spell.
[ T R A D E]
. There is now more options available when dealing with a merchant:
- the player can set up a percentage of margin when using a merchant to sell to other players.
- prices are now displayed twice : one takes fame into account, the other not.
- the price difference between an item sold to a player via the vendor and to a NPC is now displayed.
- a player doesn't have to use the checkbox to choose between
selling to the NPC or allowing the NPC to sell the item for him.
Instead,
there will be two different buttons, explicitly labeled. The one
to sell to the merchant only can be activated by hitting the Enter key,
the
one to let the merchant sell the item to other players can be activated by Shift-Enter keys.
[ F o r a g i n g & P r o s p e c t i o n ]
. New deposit have been added in the Lands of Umbra in the Prime
Roots, with new rules of spawns and new behaviors for mobs around them,
beware. Generally
speaking, the predator number in the Prime Roots has been lowered and
the herbivore number has been increased.
[ I n t e r f a c e ]
. You can now target your team-mates with keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl
F1 to Ctrl F8 ). If you have already associate those shortcuts to
others
actions, your settings will predominate. If you want to use these
shortcut, you can edit them as follow: Keys menu -> New Key ->
Actions
-> Target Teammate -> Number.
. You can now consult the weathercast on your map (written on the top of the window).
. New music has been added for specific circumstances (dying, using a teleport ticket, endind a mission...).
. New loading screen, differentiating a respawn or a teleport.
. "flying texts" are improved (damages, dodge, critical hits...).
[ P V P ]
. The damages done during a PvP session are now displayed in a different color.
. Some PvP areas in the Prime Roots have been deactivated; a PvP guild oriented area in the Nexus has been opened.
BUG FIX
[ M i s c e l l a n e o u s ]
. Don't forget that you can take out of your mektoub's inventory some items which were previously 'stuck' in there.
. Fixed an issue with the in-game e-mail.
[ I n v e n t o r y ]
. The bulk was wrongly calculated when a new stack was created in a player's bag.
[ I n t e r f a c e ]
. Items info from guild inventory were not always displayable.
. The guild symbol and guild name were wrongly updated when after a player left a guild for another.
. The Talk option from the contextual menu is working correctly again.
. You team mates HP bar in the team window is now working correctly.
. Dragging and dropping an action from the action window to the
action bar and putting it back won't activate it anymore.
. A right click on the edit box won't show an eronous menu anymore (Action_1, Action_2 ...)
. Two speech bubbles can not be displayed at the same time anymore.
This will fix the problem when all the bubbles were vanishing when the
player was to far from one of them.
. When a player does an emote to another one, the message won't be displayed twice anymore.
. HP, Sap and Stamina bars above in scene characters are now hidden
if the entity is too far away, as they were not updated after a certain
distance.
. Targeting window was displaying wrong names. Not anymore.
[M E K T O U B]
. It is not possible to move an item from one mektoub to another if both of them are not close to the player.
