Nevrax : Decision Delayed by Marjo
Contributor(s) : Soulsnatcher
A brief news to keep you all in the loop with today's happenings.
There has been a slight delay on the administrative procedures side of things (a piece of paper not folded in the right position on someone's desk, or something like that) so the final decision as to which party gets its hands on the game will be delayed. While we hope that this delay is a short which will allow us to bring you more news tomorrow, it is possible that this could last for a couple of days more. This means that the decision over the most appropriate and suitable buyer for the game will be settled then.

The second we get more news we will update you, so until then, have fun in game!

As you may already know, there was a hearing at the commerce tribunal today about the future of Nevrax. The discussion was short and went as expected.

As a number of serious take over offers had been officially presented, the court decided that we continue our activity normally until Ryzom is passed over to its new owner.

The name of the prospective buyers are still secret, however we should be able to tell you more between December the 12th and the 19th.

To keep you in the loop with what is happening in Paris here is the latest.

The situation here as you know is that Nevrax as a corporate entity will probably cease to exist in a few weeks. It is not up to Nevrax to decide the exact date, which is why we can't be more specific right now. Discussions are ongoing with various creditors so you may see "news" stories appearing here and there about Nevrax going under, but you will still hear all the facts here first.

In the meantime, Ryzom will continue to run and evolve. Right now we are happy that several companies and/or individuals are actively engaged in negotiations to take over Ryzom. Again we can't tell you more at this moment as these negotiations have to be carried out privately.

We've opened a thread in the account support section to answer your concerns regarding your account. Click here for more information.

Some of you might already know me as I have been in charge of the Ring Alpha sessions since January. Now the Ring is in your hands. So, I’m joining Marjo on the front of the scene in order to help answering your questions on the boards and keeping you aware of what’s currently in the pipe.

For all the players who don’t already know me, I wish to introduce myself a bit here.

I’m Community Liaison Assistant and my daily job consists of assisting Marjo in translating and publishing documents, keeping the website up to date, compiling your feedbacks, and so on. Lots of interesting suggestions are made and regularly draw my attention while I’m reading your threads. I’m eager to interact further with you.

I’m currently writing a report of your feedback about the Ring for the developers. This will help them to know your wishes and prioritize new features to better answer your expectations. I’m working also on a new Q&A that should be published in the weeks to come. In the meantime I’m looking forward to meeting you on the boards.

See you soon,

Seido

Hello!

After having spent a few months on the invisible side of the Community Liaison job, I'm finally coming out to hold a more interesting position - to be closer to you.

Who am I? I arrived at Nevrax several months ago to help with the communication work and, since then, I’ve been taking care of your feedbacks and concerns by writing detailed reports, summarizing and sort out your comments to facilitate the internal development team discussions, posting news, keeping the "Player Information" section updated, doing some graphics editing and correcting mistakes here and there on the website. Lately, my name started to pop out on the main page through the creation of the "Forum Watch" (and on the French board, as I attended the last IRL in Paris), so a few of you may actually know me already :) .

And now, the main part of my little speech: while keeping up most of what I'm currently doing with the help of a new CL Assistant, I'll take over part of Xavier's work until the R² release, such as writing news, Q&A and articles for the Player Information section. This change will be progressive to make it go smoothly. And, I can now start posting on the boards too!

See you there! Cheers ! ;)
