In The Saga of Ryzom there are thousands of missions to accomplish.

When you arrive on Atys, NPCs situated near the building where you appear, will have many missions to suggest to you.

How to accept a mission

To accept a mission, select one of these NPCs, then right-click on the NPC to open the context menu. Choose the mission option, and the select a mission window will appear.

Click on a mission icon to open the accept mission window. Confirm your choice, and then you have taken on the mission.

The NPC mission officer will then give you the necessary information to carry out the missions.

How to complete a mission

Each mission has a set goal or series of goals.

You can go over the mission objectives by consulting your mission journal window. You can open this window using the tasks button on the task bar (or press "J").

You can abort a mission while it is still in progress and this command is available in the mission journal.

Note: you may have several missions ongoing at the same time.

How to end a mission

When you have fulfilled the mission goal(s), either you receive a reward immediately (money, fame...) or you are rewarded when you return to the mission officer.

Note: other NPC will offer missions to you during the game. Some may change location whereas others are in a fixed spot. You can recognise these NPCs by their titles.
